Quick answers
What should I cook with the ingredients I have?
Open Fridge Finder: tick or type what’s in your kitchen and CookAtlas ranks all 500 dishes by how few ingredients you’re still missing — a complete dinner surfaces first.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
100% free, no sign-up to browse. An optional username account unlocks ratings, comments and cross-device favorites — the community runs on a shared open database.
Where do the recipes come from?
Every dish was researched from authoritative references and ships with its own source links: traditional cookbooks, cultural references and tested recipes — usually several per dish.
Can I trust the ratings?
Only registered cooks can vote, one rating per dish per person (re-rating updates it), and row-level security means nobody but you can edit or delete your posts.
